Supporting Unexpected Connections
We’re living in a chaotic and seemingly unprecedented time, and it’s up to all of us to be a part of the changes that we want to see happen in the world.
I’ve been grateful for my friendship with Eugene Kan over the past few years, as he’s someone who has pushed my own thinking on a lot of dimensions and connected me to even more people who have done so. When he reached out about opportunities to support this year’s Unexpected Connections, it was an easy decision.
Unexpected Connections is an event by MAEKAN and Intertrend that brings together inventive people thinking across industries and bringing positive change — all those who are seeing, making, and facilitating unexpected connections. In the current climate, their event this year is a free, public fundraiser for charities and non-profits involved in COVID-19 relief efforts and the Black Lives Matter movement. Organizations like Inner-City Arts, #BlackLivesMatter, and Medecins San Frontieres.
The agenda includes people from a range of backgrounds and professions like Chef Kristen Kish, designer & entrepreneur Jason Mayden, and artist David Choe.
I’d encourage you to tune in this Saturday, June 6th at 4pm PST and donate to these great organizations.
